Monture licorne
La Pomme Bénite (« Blessed Apple » en anglais) est un objet d'invocation de monture disponible seulement en Hardmode. Quand il est utilisé, il invoque une monture de licorne chevauchable qui procure un saut supplémentaire ainsi que la capacité de courir et de charger à travers les ennemis, leur infligeant des dégâts. Il peut être droppé tous les ennemis du biome sacré avec une chance de drop de 0.5% / 0.67% (1/200 / 1/150).
Quand sa vitesse de course élevée est atteinte, la licorne émet un effet d'éclat. Lorsque c'est le cas, elle est capable d'infliger des dommages au contact des ennemis. Une invulnérabilité est accordé pour 1/10 secondes quand le joueur et la licorne courent à travers un ennemis, un peu comme l'invulnérabilité brève après avoir subi des dommages. Courir à travers les ennemis en chevauchant la mouture licorne va leur infliger 80 de dommages de base (sans prendre en compte leur défense). Ces dommages bénéficient des buffs et objets qui augmentent les dommages des invocations.

Notes
- Its speed reaches 61 mph according to the Stopwatch. At top speed, it is nearly twice as fast as a player wearing Lightning Boots.
- A Unicorn does not benefit from the effect of Asphalt Blocks, making players with Lightning Boots travel slightly faster on these blocks (64 mph with boots and 61 mph on a Unicorn). The Unicorn also does not benefit from Swiftness Potions.
- While riding the Unicorn, you will be damaged by one-block-deep lava, but not given benefits or slowed down by one-block-deep Miel.
- While the player is mounted on the Unicorn, they will take less fall damage.
- The Unicorn makes you five tiles in height, unlike most other mounts, which only raise your height to four tiles.
- Even though the blessed apple's drop chance is quite low, considering it drops from all hallowed mobs, the mount is quite common, and is usually the first Hardmode mount obtained.
- If the player has Water Walking Boots, Obsidian Water Walking Boots, or Lava Waders equipped, then the Unicorn Mount will also walk on water.
Tips
- The Unicorn mount is arguably one of the best pre-Plantera mounts for its damage protection and ability to attack when moving at high speed.
- Mounting the Unicorn while dashing using the Shield of Cthulhu (and items of similar effect) will allow you to reach the Unicorn's max speed instantly.
Trivia
- All items providing an extra jump, like the Cloud in a Bottle, will stack with the mount, allowing a triple jump. If a Bundle of Balloons is equipped, it's possible to jump 5 times before hitting the ground.
- Further adding the Fart in a Jar or upgrades and Tsunami in a Bottle or upgrades allows the player to do a septuple jump.
- When using the Double jump, you have a green and yellow sparkling effect in the mount's trail. La couleur des particules créés par la charge est affectée par les teinture.
- When using any auto-firing weapon such as Lame terra, Yoyo ou un Minirequin, and firing it in opposite direction of moving will cause the Unicorn to "moon walk".
- The Unicorn on flat ground travels at the same speed as an unmodified Terra Blade beam.
